How to add a Pinterest account to the FS Poster plugin
There are three methods for adding a Pinterest account to FS Poster.
Option 1: Use the FS Poster Standard App to add your account;
Option 2: Create your personal App and add your accounts using the personal App;
Option 3: Use the Cookie method to add your account to the plugin.
Option 1: Standard App method:
1. Go to FS Poster > Accounts > Pinterest menu;
2. Click the ADD AN ACCOUNT button;
3. Select the App method. It will use the Standard App by default, and that App is hidden. You do not need to check the "Use a custom App", if you do not have one;
4. Click the ADD button and authorize your Pinterest account;
5. Activate your Pinterest boards and start to share your posts as pins on those boards.
Your Pinterest account has to have boards. Also, your WordPress posts must contain a featured image to share posts on Pinterest boards because you cannot pin on Pinterest without an image.
Option 2: Create your App and add your account using the custom App method:
Please follow the steps below to create a Pinterest App and add your accounts using the App method:
1. Go to the Pinterest Developers page;
2. Create or log in to a Business Pinterest Account;
Or link your existing personal account to create a Business account;
4. You should get an email to verify your account. If you do not get an email, go to the Pinterest Developers page to resend it;
5. Agree to the Terms;
6. Now, you can create an App;
7. Fill in all the required fields and Submit the App.
8. Go to FS Poster > APPS > Pinterest menu and copy the Redirect URL;
9. And add the Redirect URL to the App settings after the App is approved;
10. When your App is approved, copy your new App ID and secret key;
11. Go to FS Poster > APPS > Pinterest menu;
12. Click the ADD AN APP button;
13. Paste your App ID and secret and click the ADD AN APP button. Make sure that there is no white space before and after the App ID and the secret key when you are adding them to the plugin;
14. Go to FS Poster > Accounts > Pinterest menu;
16. Click the ADD ACCOUNT button, select the App method, check the "Use a custom App", select your App from the select box, click the "ADD" button, and authorize your Pinterest account;
17. Activate your Pinterest boards and start to share your posts as pins on those boards.
You might need to activate the Pinterest App Standard access to share more posts on your boards.

Option 3: The cookie method:
1. Go to FS Poster > Accounts > Pinterest;
2. >Click the ADD AN ACCOUNT button;
3. Select the cookie method;
4. Open the Incognito tab in Chrome (you can open the Incognito tab in Chrome by pressing Ctrl+Shift+N keys);
5. Log in to your Pinterest account;
6. Press the F12 key on your keyboard and click the Application tab within the opened window;
7. Click the Cookies on the left menu;
8. Copy the "_pinterest_sess" cookie value and close the incognito tab without logging out of your account. If you log out, you will need to get new cookie values again;
9. Paste the "_pinterest_sess" to the plugin and click the ADD button;
10. Activate your Pinterest boards and start to share your posts as pins on those boards.
